Bumbershoot was amazing! It was held in the Seattle's city center. My friend cara flew out to help brian and i which was a tremendous help. THANK YOU CARA! and BRIAN! And MOM! Everything was perfect the entire weekend. We had some great neighbors too. partybots, daisy rock hats, and don't quilt your day job And here are a few more pictures of the booth! It was my first time to fill up at 10 X 10 space.
And a final picture brian took with his phone. pretty!
New images to choose from just in time for fall!
I also got my ETSY SHOP back up + running to sell other items that I've been working on besides jewelry. I've added magnets, kitchen towels, badges, and soon coasters!
And we had some wonderful friends come to visit from Texas a couple of weeks ago.
Last weekend we celebrated Brian's birthday in this cabin near mt. hood. I love mini vacations and I love brian! This was the first thing we saw when we pulled up to the cabin.
If you look close, you can see our cabin thru all of the green.
This month I am also participating in an online indie street market called Poppy Talk Handmade. My table here!
We have a huge pear tree in our backyard and pears are falling daily. They are so juicy! I never new how good a pear could be. In Portland and need some pears? We've made several meals involving pears in the past week! Spinach, Pear + Avacado Salad, Pear + Gorgonzola Pizza (we also added caramelized onions and mozarella) and a pear pie. Figs from the tree in our yard are going to be ready in a few weeks too. I feel so lucky that we didn't even know what surprises would be arriving for us during the summer when we moved in!
These flowers sprouted in our yard too.
And finally, I've been getting ready for Bumbershoot which is NEXT WEEKEND! This is the first time that my products alone will be filling a 10 x 10 booth. I'm so excited! Here are a few pictures of things that I have been creating.
The kitties are still doing terrific too!
My mom is arriving for a visit tomorrow which I am really excited about! I'm going to put her to work! heehee We'll take her to see fun stuff too.

I am constantly surprised by all of the different flowers here in portland. In the one week that we were gone this succulent grew upward and then flowered. So beautiful I had to share!

I think one of my favorite times during the trip was riding the ski lift in breckenridge up to about 11,000 feet and then hiking up another 2,000 feet to find snow for brian's nephew. There were so many colorful wildflowers on the hike up. We finally found snow, but had to hurry back down because of a storm that was coming our way. We did make time for a snowman though!
I love everything about the article that Leanne wrote. She even mentioned the summer deals that I have going on throughout the summer. And I am in love with her clothing line - Leanimal. You can see her 2007 spring, summer + fall collections online. I have never seen so many unique and really surprising details. These 2 are my favorites!
And me and my love!
CRAFTY WONDERLAND was a lot of fun yesterday!
I introduced a new item that I have been working on and it was a success! It's a pin that in a way reminds me of a merit badge. I've created them using my images and varying fabric and ribbons for each pin. I can't wait to make more!
Strawberries + Raspberries
A beautiful view of Mt. Hood
I didn't know blueberries grew on trees?
I think we ended up with over 10 lbs of berries!
It was a fun few hours at Kruger's Farm As for the berries, we plan on making lots of smoothies + a blueberry pie for july 4. I'll post the recipe for that this week!
